<\/strong>Hives and Joint Pain<\/h2>\n

Joint pain and hives accompanied by fever is a sign of another condition called urticarial vasculitis. This condition is much like urticaria (hives) in fact sometimes it is hard to tell the difference with the naked eye. Urticarial vasculitis is a condition in which the blood vessels in the skin are inflamed. These hives last much longer and the area stays red after the hives are gone. In rare occasions these hives have indicated lupus or cancer (Aafa.org, 2005). If you have hives joint pain, make sure and avoid medications that contain aspirin, because you can make the hives much worse.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Hives Stomach Pain<\/h3>\n

Hives and stomach pain is a sign of angioedema. Agioedema is similar to hives except when this reaction is triggered the capillaries dilate and leak fluid deeper into the skin. Swelling can occur in the lips and the larynx, or in the lining of the stomach, which causes the abdominal pain. Hives may also form on the outside of the body. If you have hives and abdominal pain, make sure and tell your doctor. Angioedema is a very serious condition, because it can cause sudden swelling of the larynx which can block the airways and create an emergency situation.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Hives Chest Pain<\/h4>\n

As was stated above, chest pain and hives is a sign of another very serious condition called anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction that happens quickly and involves the whole body. Any allergic reaction can trigger anaphylaxis, but the most common allergies are to drugs, food, or insect bites and stings.<\/p>\n

Symptoms can develop within seconds or minutes. Symptoms of this condition are most commonly hives and swelling of the skin. Other symptoms include abnormal or high-pitched breathing sounds, abnormal pain or cramping, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, slurred speech, chest pains and much more.<\/p>\n

Many people that have had an anaphylaxis attack have known of their allergy and have had an allergic reaction to the substance before. One of the scariest things about this condition is that some people aren\u2019t even aware that they have an allergy before they experience a severe attack such as this.
