Angiotensin II receptor antagonists or angiotensin receptor blockers might be a new name for some of you but you might have heard of ARB angioedema, especially if you have a history of angioedema.
People suffering from high blood pressure, diabetic nephropathy or congestive heart problems are prescribed ARB, however, they can have side effects including a dry cough and angioedema. Of course it would not beĀ good to get rid of your high blood pressure and then developĀ hives, because of the intake of ARBs. You should consult your doctor if you are having this problem.
