Why do I still get Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy (PUPPP), when I have been extra careful?

Many women would ask the question above to their doctor or at least would have it in their minds. As your body is going through a lot of changes, at this time these things are possible.

Though it happens to only one in two hundred women it can still be extremely annoying due to the itch. Would it not be gruesome if your veins and arteries are both affected by a skin disorder, known as Hypocomplementemic Urticarial Vasculitis? Of course yes!

In fact, Hypocomplementemic Urticarial Vasculitis is a skin disorder characterized by fixed urticarial lesions that appear histologically as a vasculitis. Many people have the misconception that Urticaria Pigmentosa Mastocytosis is only found in infants. It is true that this disease is more common in infants but adults are not an exception. A major percentage of people suffering from chronic urticaria have a physical cause and this type of chronic urticaria is called physical urticaria.
